Environment:  bathypelagic; depth range 200 - 1500 m
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: known only from one specimen (22°00'S, 12°14'E). Elsewhere, Pacific Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Also benthopelagic (Ref. 4461).
