Max. size:  23 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic
Distribution:  Eurasia: In swamps of the Hula basin. These swamps were drained in the 1950's.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A bottom feeder, its diet consisting partly of mollusks. Spawned from February to April.
IUCN Red List Status: Extinct (EX); Date assessed: 06 February 2014 Ref. (123251)
