Max. size:  30 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 900 - 1640 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: off Gabon and northwestern Africa.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in deeper slope waters. Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 20 August 2006 Ref. (119314)
