Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Known from a single specimen from one of the breaks in the western part of the Sala y Gomez Ridge.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 5-5; Dorsal soft rays (total): 35-37; Anal spines: 4-4; Anal soft rays: 15-15; Vertebrae: 29-29
