Distribution:  South Atlantic and Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mesopelagic (Ref. 58302). Comes to 175 m depth during the night (Ref. 47377).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 20 October 2011 Ref. (120744)
