Environment:  demersal; pH range: 6 - 8; dH range: 5 - 19, amphidromous
Distribution:  Asia and Oceania.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits clear, relatively swift rainforest streams, close to the coast (Ref. 26637). Feeds on algae (Ref. 559).
